I am a…
Most Singapore tuition centres teach content.
Not thinking.
- Students memorise model answers instead of developing real analytical skills
- Large classes of 15–30 students mean your child gets overlooked
- No proven framework — just “do more papers” and hope for the best
A-Worthy teaches your child
how to think — and score.
- The CASE Method — a four-step system adapted from how lawyers think, giving your child a repeatable approach to every exam question
- Max 6 students — your child can’t hide in the back row; every student gets live feedback on their work, every session
- Structured mastery — skills that compound over time, not tricks that expire after one exam

O-Level Comprehension Question
“Why does the author describe the city as ‘a beast that never sleeps’? Support your answer with evidence from the passage.”
Contextualise
~2 min“This is an inference question asking ‘why’ — I need to explain the author’s purpose AND provide textual evidence. Two marks, so I need two clear points.”
Analyse
~5 min“The metaphor ‘beast that never sleeps’ suggests the city is overwhelming and relentless. The word ‘beast’ implies something dangerous and untameable. In paragraph 3, the author also mentions ‘the constant drone of traffic’ — this supports the idea of restlessness.”
Structure
~5 minThe author describes the city as ‘a beast that never sleeps’ to convey how overwhelming and inescapable urban life has become. The metaphor of a ‘beast’ suggests something powerful and beyond human control, reflecting the author’s sense of helplessness. This is further supported by the description of ‘the constant drone of traffic that filled every waking hour’ in paragraph 3, which reinforces the idea that the city offers no respite or peace.
Evaluate
~1 minWhy the CASE Method produces results other tuition centres can’t
Lawyers don’t guess — they follow a system. We adapted that same system for O-Level English, GP, and H2 Economics. The result? Students who walk into exams knowing exactly how to attack every question.
Contextualise
Before a lawyer argues a case, they identify the exact issue. Your child learns the same discipline — reading the question with precision, spotting what the examiner is really testing, and knowing the exact response format required. This step alone eliminates the careless “didn’t answer the question” mistakes that cost most students 10–15 marks.
Analyse
This is the step that separates A students from C students. Your child learns to dissect texts the way lawyers dissect evidence — extracting implicit meaning, identifying language techniques, and building interpretations that examiners reward with full marks. Students who master this step consistently outperform those who rely on surface-level reading.
Structure
Examiners spend seconds scanning each answer. A well-structured response signals competence before they even finish reading. Your child learns to build paragraphs the way lawyers build arguments — claim, evidence, reasoning — creating responses that are impossible to mark down. This is why our students’ essays consistently score in the top band.
Evaluate
The habit most tuition centres never teach. Before submitting, your child systematically checks their work against the CASE checklist — the same rigour lawyers apply before submitting to a judge. Students who evaluate catch 3–5 marks of avoidable errors every paper. Over a year, that’s the difference between a B3 and an A2.

Frequently asked questions about our Singapore tuition programmes
How is A-Worthy different from other tuition centres in Singapore?
Most tuition centres hand out worksheets and model answers. We built something fundamentally different. The CASE Method is a four-step analytical system adapted from how lawyers are trained — Contextualise, Analyse, Structure, Evaluate. Instead of memorising responses, your child develops a repeatable thinking process that works across English, General Paper, and Economics. It’s why our students achieve a 90% A1–B3 rate: they don’t just know the content — they know how to deploy it under exam conditions.
Why are classes online only?
Online delivery via Zoom lets us keep class sizes small (max 6) while keeping fees accessible. Every student gets screen-shared feedback on their work in real time — something difficult in a physical classroom of 15-20.
What if my child doesn't improve?
We offer a free diagnostic assessment before any commitment. If after 3 months your child hasn't shown measurable improvement, we'll work with you on a revised plan at no extra cost.
How much does it cost?
O-Level English tuition: SGD 280–320/month. H1 GP tuition: SGD 360–400/month. H2 Economics tuition: SGD 360–400/month. One-to-One coaching: SGD 120–140/session. All classes are online via Zoom with a maximum of 6 students. See each programme page for full details.
